To reflect the sophisticated new reality of the local housing market, leading Las Vegas real estate agents are upgrading their websites. Gone are the flashing ad banners and exclamation marks; in their place you’ll find elegant color palettes and understated design. Probably the best example is the website of Cindi Nelson & Associates, one of the hottest real estate teams in Las Vegas.

In a recent interview, Northern California-based economist David L. Smith challenged policymakers and media pundits to rethink their prescriptions for the U.S. economy. "Am I the only person on the planet who thinks that periodic recessions are just what this country needs, and that all these cockamamie plans to keep the economy from slumping are setting up (or have already set up) the U.S. economy for another Great Depression?" he asked.
In a line reminiscent of Gordon Gecko in "Wall Street," Mr. Smith asserted "Recessions are good." When asked to explain this rather startling conclusion, Smith explained, "Recessions are good because they force people to trim spending, pay down debt and save. Recessions also discourage lenders from granting loans to un-creditworthy borrowers and weed out bad loans through defaults, all of which has the effect of preventing the accumulation of unhealthy levels of debt, such as we now have weighing on the economy."

The unique aspect of the firm is that it serves both the Baltimore and Washington, DC metropolitan area. Clientele focus is both commercial and residential.
These days, it seems impossible to escape tales of doom and gloom, whether on the Web, through your TV or in line at the grocery store. Fortunately, there is a golden quartz crystal that may help improve your mood and your bank account: citrine, now available from Diviene.com.
Named after the French word "citron" for its lemon color, citrine also happens to be one of two modern birthstones for the month of November, along with yellow topaz. But its legendary powers are available--and recommended--to anyone who has found themselves feeling defeated by the current economic climate or other negativity.
Previously, New York Times published a column titled "Teens Exposing Themselves in Cyberspace". The report showed that 40 percent of teens send sexually suggestive content online. Chaperone says their purpose today is to bring those percentages down to a minimum, by campaigning at their site http://chaperone-teen-image.blogspot.com to launch this new rating system in the next 4 years or earlier, depending on parents writing to Congress to keep their child from being exposed online.
Although parents are responsible for monitoring their adolescents with parental guidance, Chaperone believes that Youtube must be accountable for asking parental permission for videos that air children without a guardian seen posted in the video. Chaperone states that just as children need a parental guardian chaperon to prevent teens from being exposed at parties, adolescents also need chaperons to prevent them from being exposed online.
