Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) April 10, 2006 -– M&A activity in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) industry is off to a similar start in 2006 as compared to 2005, with 8 transactions completed totaling roughly $128 million. The same quarter last year generated 12 transactions totaling approximately $110 million in deal value.
According to Mark Russell, Director at Kaulkin Ginsberg Company, "We are not surprised by the level of deal activity in the first quarter of 2006. 2005 also started off comparatively slow, but ended up being another record-breaking year. The market characteristics that drove last year's deal activity are still in place – the economy is strong, lenders are providing debt with attractive terms, corporations and investment funds have large amounts of capital to put to work, and the appetite for outsourcing debt collection activities is growing."
Have you been discouraged by all of the negative news about real estate investing since some of the hottest areas for real estate have cooled down, with appreciation rates falling and inventories of unsold homes rising? Have you purchased multiple properties and now don’t know what to do with all of that negative cash flow?
Have you ever considered taking advantage of the biggest biggest trends to affect mankind? If you have a car, then you know that gasoline prices have risen tremendously to over $3.00 per gallon. But the price of gasoline does not only affect a person's driving, but it affects 90% of all the goods and services that a person buys every single day.

Visonic recently announced the launch of its latest security system, AbbraCampus, which is designed to protect college students from campus crime. This new product launch comes just in time for National Campus Safety Month, and it is now available at Target.com.
It is widely recognized that college students are most vulnerable in September due to being more lax about their personal safety and security. Being forewarned is being forearmed and while we certainly don't want students to be fearful, having a deepened awareness of surroundings as well as learning simple things they can easily do in daily lives will raise the odds in their favor substantially.
For years, the ChangeWave Alliance, an independent industry stock research firm, has been closely monitoring consumer PC trends. Rarely, however, has it seen the kind of momentum in its proprietary surveys of computer industry personnel that Apple Computer (AAPL) has registered in recent months.
The first indication of Apple's strength was seen in the June 2005 ChangeWave Alliance survey on Consumer PC demand - taken just days after Apple first announced its deal with Intel Corp. (INTC) for a new Intel-chip powered Macintosh. At the time, nearly one-in-five survey respondents (19%) said the new Intel-equipped Mac made them "more likely" to buy an Apple computer in the future, compared to just 3% who said it made them "less likely" to buy.

Online singles websites have been in decline in recent years. Much like the fate of network television following the onslaught of cable, broad-appeal services have lost ground to niche sites that target specific demographic groups. One niche-dating directory that is growing in popularity is Fitness Singles (www.fitness-singles.com). Here, Chris Mattioli of Fitness Singles answers questions related to the online dating game.
How did Fitness Singles get started?
We formed Fitness Singles because we are personally committed to the fitness lifestyle, and noticed that fitness was underrepresented in the online dating field. As single women or men would view fitness as a desirable characteristic in a prospective partner, they decided to launch a site tailored to the fitness lifestyle.

In a recent survey, 44 percent of respondents did not know their organization’s President’s Management Agenda (PMA) scorecard ranking as it applies to compliance with Executive Order 13327 on Federal Real Property Asset Management (EO 13327). Despite this finding, 42 percent nonetheless believed they would achieve compliance in 2006.
These and related findings were presented in a keynote address by VISTA President and CEO David Baxa at the recently concluded professional development conference for the Federal Real Property Association (FRPA). VISTA, a leader in real property asset management, and FRPA, conducted the survey of the association’s current and prospective members beginning in August 2005.
A PDF of the White Paper detailing all the survey findings is available on the VISTA Web site at http://www.vistatsi.com
EO 13327 tasks Federal executive agencies with a comprehensive inventory of their real property assets, their condition, utilization, mission value and cost to maintain. If any real property inventory is deemed surplus to mission requirements, agencies must create a timeline and cost estimates for disposal of the property. Proceeds from disposal will be returned primarily to the general funds of the Treasury, to help reduce the national deficit, and to pay for essential services.
During his keynote address Baxa observed, “The survey findings depicted a group willing to do what’s required to comply with the order, but somewhat frustrated by changing guidance from OMB and GSA.”
White Plains, NY (PRWEB) October 10, 2006 – With over 10 million items to choose from, QuickSeek.com launches its newest sector of online search: shopping. As a leading yellow pages Internet directory, QuickSeek is the hub for online consumers looking for bargains, brand names, variety and local access to a myriad of products.
Differentiating itself from other online shopping networks, QuickSeek Shopping offers the convenience of searching products both nationally and locally. This allows not only delivery but also pickup. If a consumer finds something while shopping at QuickSeek that is in stock at a local store, they can reserve it online and pick it up at their own convenience. This allows customers more choices when saving money. Patronizing local stores eliminates shipping costs while boosting local business and economy. Customers also save time by not waiting around for home deliveries. Yet, ordering online boosts e-commerce and saves the hassle of an extra trip to an out of reach store.
